Spurlock gained international fame for his groundbreaking documentary "Super Size Me," in which he consumed nothing but food from McDonald's for 30 consecutive days to explore the impact of the fast food industry on health. The film was a commercial and critical success, grossing over US$110 million worldwide while raising awareness about the dangers of processed food and excessive calorie consumption.
Beyond "Super Size Me," Spurlock directed and produced numerous other documentaries that tackled social and political issues, including "Pom Wonderful Presents: The Greatest Movie Ever Sold," "Where in the World Is Osama Bin Laden?" and "The Man Who Bought Hollywood."
